The class focuses on gentle exercise and mobility but exercises will be targeted to individual needs and ability. No special equipment or experience is needed but you should wear loose clothing and trainers, if possible. Read more	13 All day: Village Xmas Card Delivery All day 13 December 2024 Proceeds to Great North Air Ambulance The elves are gearing up to run the annual village Christmas card delivery again this year. Funds raised will be used to cover the cost of printing the Great Salkeld Newsletter with any additional money will go the Great North Air Ambulance. Cost 10p per card Cards, with name and 1st line address (for anyone in Great Salkeld, Salkeld Dykes and within Salkeld parish can be left with payment by ; Friday 13th December at the latest at: Bramleys, Great Salkeld (Sue Martin) or leave in box at Coffee Craic & VH Christmas lunch. Please include your own details with the cards you drop off just in case we need to contact you for extra information. We can collect cards, please ring Diane 07702278700 to arrange. Deliveries will be made on Saturday 14th December & Sunday 15th December Read more	14 8:00 pm: Bare Wires at GSVH 8:00 pm – 11:00 pm 14 December 2024 Tickets £8 from P Bowden Read more	15 5:00 pm: Xmas Light Switch On 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm 15 December 2024 “GREAT SALKELD ANNUAL XMAS LIGHTS SWITCH ON” After the success of last year the big switch on will take place on Sunday 15th December at 5pm. There will be a mass turn on at 5pm which will then give everyone the opportunity to walk around the village at their leisure to see the village lit up once again for Christmas. As always the more the better and as always we don’t mind if it’s tacky or classy, a single light bulb will do. I do hope you will join us if you can and help create more fabulous village memories. Once again we will be raising money for the Eden Valley Hospice so keep and eye out for the fundraising page which we will post on the village Facebook page or donations can be left with Sue Martin at Bramleys.
